Get ready to start taking card payments with this step-by-step guide to setting up Mimbbo Pay.
1. Access the Payment Methods section:
- Navigate to Manage My Business
- On the left-hand menu of your Mimbbo dashboard, go to Payment Methods.
- If you're setting up Mimbbo Pay for the first time , Select the option to Register for Mimbbo Pay to begin.
2. Choose your Business Type:
• Select whether you are registering as an Individual or a Company then click on continue.
- Individual: If you haven’t filed paperwork to register your business as a legal entity, select this option. No Business Structure selection is required.
- Company: If you’ve registered your business with a government agency (e.g., LLC), select this option and provide details based on the documentation you filed.
3. Enter Your Email Address:
• Provide the email address that will be associated with your Stripe account then click on continue.
4. Complete Onboarding with Stripe
Mimbbo partners with Stripe to ensure secure and reliable financial services. Here’s the information you’ll need to provide during onboarding:
1. Professional Details
• Business name and website.
• If you don’t have a business website, use your booking link or any professional page you have.
2. Personal Details
• Legal name, email, date of birth, address, phone number, and the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number.
• In some cases, Stripe may require your full Social Security Number to verify your identity.
Important to Note
• Privacy Assurance: Mimbbo does not have access to your personal information, such as your date of birth, address, bank account numbers, debit card details, or Social Security Number.
• Verification Process: In rare cases, Stripe may take 24-48 hours to verify your account before you can start receiving
payments.
